Broadway Backwards is an annual Broadway event for the LGBT Community that features a few of Broadway’s biggest names singing original songs for opposite genders. Women will sing songs that were written for men and men will sing songs written for women. Of course women will sing about women and men about men. Created by Robert Bartley he directs and choreographs this star-studded evening with music directed by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. This event is produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and will benefit the Center and BC/EFA. Last year’s event raised $281,243 for the two organizations.
